ABOUT BMX RACING

BMX racing is a great family sport, open to all ages, boys and girls. Our sport is about negotiating a dirt track loaded with jumps and obstacles in the shortest possible time whilst competing against up to 7 other riders. If you have had a go round our track why not step up and get involved in BMX racing.

There are currently over 5,500 licensed BMX racers in Australia. At Southside we have riders ranging in age from 4 years to over 40 years. You will need to become a member of a BMX club before you can race. If you want to give it a try first why not come down to one of our race days and ask about a 3 day trial pass. You'll be hooked!

Southside BMX Club is affiliated with the governing body for BMX racing in Western Australia, BMX Sports WA Inc and the Australian governing body, BMX Australia. All licensed riders are covered under the insurance of these organisations whilst competing.
